Kalev Yacht Club Deed of the Year 2025

The 2025 sailing season at Kalev Yacht Club came to a festive close on Friday, October 17, bringing together sailors, volunteers, organisers, supporters, and friends to celebrate another memorable year on the water.

The evening was dedicated to recognising excellence — celebrating the best teams and sailors, our devoted volunteers and event organisers, and the valued sponsors and supporters whose contribution makes every season possible.

As part of a long-standing tradition, four honorary titles were presented: Skipper of the Year, Trimmer of the Year, Deed of the Year, and Dark Horse of the Year.

We are proud to share that the Garmin ORC World Championship was voted Deed of the Year 2025 — a wonderful recognition of the teamwork, dedication, and passion that went into making this event a success. Because of everyone’s effort, participants could truly say: “This was an event to remember!”

A sincere thank you to all supporters and sponsors–with your help, our sails were set safely and confidently. To all sailors and participants, it was a pleasure and an honor to host you at Kalev Yacht Club in Tallinn, Estonia.
